Just wanted to say thank you! Last summer you built me a Kingwood trumpet. I have a small collection of trumpets, wingbones and Jordan style cane yelpers. The trumpet you built me instantly became my favorite. I came on a trip to Southern Texas in search of a Rio Grande. This morning started off with silence. Not a peep. I could see the turkey sign all over a two track intersection. I decided to sit and call a bit and see what happens. I hit the trumpet and did a little clucking and yelping. I no sooner took the trumpet out of my mouth and a bird fired off. I grabbed the trumpet and answered with some excited cutting and he cut me off with another gobble almost immediately. I put the trumpet down and got the gun shouldered and her came 3 Rios literally RUNNING down the two track to me.
